Cali and the Kelp Forest

Cali and the Kelp Forest began as a passion project for the little ones in my life but quickly grew into something more. I set out to create a magical story that taught kids about the ocean and conservation, featuring California's kelp forests and marine life. Vibrant colors and engaging illustrations were key to making the book fun while still educational.

The goal was to create a world kids could emotionally connect with, all while learning the importance of protecting our oceans. What started as a personal project became a published book in July 2024, now available online at Barnes and Noble and Amazon with hundreds of copies sold.

I am the author and illustrator of this book.
